Diamond Beach offers 5km of pristine golden sand, which stretches from Red Head northward to Saltwater. The beach is sparsely populated with two thirds protected by nature reserve. The scenic lookout at Red Head is a perfect vantage point for whale watching and seeing dolphins play. In the area there is a huge range of holiday activities including deep sea fishing, scuba diving, rainforest walks, lake cruises and horse riding.
